Harriet Ann Tennant, 78, of Columbia, Missouri, died Feb. 22, 2012. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Gail and Brian Childers of Wichita, Kansas, her son and daughter-in-law, Sandy and Amy Mumma, of Columbia; Grandchildren Shannon Spendlove and husband Matthew, James Childers, Janet Mcdowell, Jerome Mumma, Steven Mumma, Tiffany Mumma, Brandon Mumma and Kiera Mumma as well as 12 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by two sons; Loren and Dwayne Mumma and a grandson Sandy Mumma Jr.

Although I didn’t get to see her much she was always on my mind. I really wish I could have seen her one more time to tell her what she ment to me. I miss her dearly and unfortunatley time was not on my side. I know she would not want us to mourn her she would just want us to remember the love she had for each of us! I miss you grandma and I am so sorry I didn’t make it sooner.

I will always remember when I first met her. We must have come over at a bad time because she said “its nice to meet you, but you will have to go soon I have to get to the bus for bingo.” She loved her bingo! I miss her sarcasim and her long stories. She didn’t care what people thought of her and stayed true to that until the end. She will sincerely be missed!
