Harvey Joseph Brown, 72, of Northeast Kansas City MO, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Christmas morning, Wednesday December 25th 2024.
He was born November 25th 1952 to Charles and Jessie Brown. As one of ten children, Harvey, all his siblings, and his mother and father shared a very close family bond. Harvey received his GED and went on to attend Penn Valley College and UMKC for theater and performing arts. He truly enjoyed theater, if he wasn’t performing he was helping as a stage manager.
After dealing with many trials and tribulations, Harvey gave his life to the Lord. He became a born again Christian, and devoted the rest of his life to Jesus. He spent his free time reading and studying the Bible, preaching the word of the Lord to anyone and everyone who would listen, and writing poems. His faith and dedication was truly unmatched.
Harvey is survived by his six children, Tina Stewart, Tabitha Hall, Lesley Keeton, Lindsey Maxey, Richard Erecius, Zachary Erecius, eighteen grandchildren and two sisters, Jessie Brown, and Angel Grant.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Jessie Brown; his sisters, Frances Gumm, Josephine Brown, and Billie Jo Hinton; his brothers, Charles Brown, Anthony Brown, Joseph Brown, and Donald Brown; and his granddaughter, Adrianna Stewart.
Harvey will especially be remembered for his faithfulness to Jesus, and love for his children.
The visitation and funeral for Harvey will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, Raytown MO. The visitation begins at 2pm followed by a funeral service at 3pm.
