Hildegard Miller

Hildegard Miller, 90 passed away at Olathe Hospice House, Olathe, Kansas on Tuesday, March 15, 2016. Hilde was born July 20, 1925 in Vienna, Austria. She met her soul mate Stanley during Word War II and moved to Kansas with him. Stanley and Hilde were happily married for 62 years and had two daughters, Janet and Sandie. Hilde lived life to the fullest and enjoyed traveling and cooking. She found joy in volunteering at Trinity Lutheran Church as Altar Guild Chairman for 25 years. She was a devoted wife and mother. She spent life celebrating and letting everyone know how happy she was to have grandchildren as will as a great-granddaughter. Your family says, “Bussi, Bussi Mammy. Auf Wiedersehen.”

Hilde was preceded in death by her husband Stanley and her sister Hermine Kilin. She is survived by her daughter Janet (David) Stern; daughter Sandie (Scott) Clark; grandson Andrew (Rose) Stern; granddaughter Jessica (Adam) Tosh; granddaughter Stephanie Clark; grandson Anthony (Megan) Clark; great-granddaughter Cassidy Stern.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Trinity Lutheran Church with visitation from 10:00 A.M.-11:00 A.M. Burial will be at Johnson County Memorial Gardens, Overland Park, Kansas immediately following the following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church.
