Helen Martin

Helen Lula Martin, 65, passed away after fighting a long battle with diabetes, leukemia and terminal dementia on April 7, 2016.  A Celebration of her Life and memorial gathering will be held 3:00 – 5:00 PM, Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown, Missouri.

Helen was born July 17, 1950 in Kansas City, Missouri.  She is preceded in death by; son, Thomas Lee Martin and her mother and father.  Survivors include: husband of 47 years, James Martin SR, Independence, Missouri; son, George Martin, Independence, Missouri; sons & daughters-in-law, Edward & Paula Martin, Independence, Missouri, James & Samantha Martin, Raytown, Missouri; daughters & sons-in-law, Judy & Jesse Mitchell, Independence, Missouri, Carolann & James Francisco, Independence, Missouri; twenty grandchildren; and the Miller family.

    I have known Helen for fifty years I grow up with all the girls Helen Joann and Carol our thoughts are with the family and Helen only sister left carol… she finely at peace out of pain walking with our Lord Jesus Christ and one day she’ll we’ll be reunited with her husband children brother sister mother and family and everyone who loves her sending prayers along with our condolences.from the Kipper family

    Mom you are on my mind and in heart every day and I miss you so much that it’s not explainable when you decide to go to the places of heaven you took a big part of me with you not only I was born on mother’s Day it kills me every birthday thinking about you I love you with all my heart mom and miss you dearly one day we will be together once again
