Howard Chambers, 71, Cowgill, MO, passed away March 24, 2006 at VA Medical Center, Kansas City, MO. Military graveside service will be 2:30 p.m., Monday, March 27, 2006, at Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, KS. Howard was born in Bonesteel, SD, and spent most of his life in Missouri. He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Chambers; sisters, Hazel Lunn and Gladys Pease; brothers, Lawrence and Donald Chambers and grandson, Brandon Chambers. He is survived by his mother, Blanche Chambers; brother, Carl Chambers and sister, Ruth Johnson all of South Dakota; 7 children, Kathy McClung and husband, Terry, Stewartsville, MO, Sandra McNeil and Robert Chambers, both of Ft. Worth, TX, Della McElwee and husband, Steve, Dianna Collins and husband, Gary, Leslie Osborne and husband, Kevin, and Donna Fulton and husband, Marty, all of Kansas City, MO; 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
