Jeanne was born in Carroll County, Missouri on May 15, 1923 to Dennis and Erma Mayden Griffth. In August, 1973, she married Jim Syverson and became a homemaker after working many years for Menorah Medical Center. Jim was an executive for Southern Pacific Railroad and they lived in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Kansas City during his career. When her grandsons were small, they flew by themselves on an airplane to go visit, and they got to be in the cockpit with the pilot, which would be unheard of now. She loved her family very much. She was very close to her sister, Doris, and she was a lifelong dedicated Royals fan. She missed very few games and knew who all the players were and their stats!

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Syverson; her parents; her brother; George E. Griffith; and her sister, Doris Duquette.

Jeanne is survived by; her son, Richard K. Cannon and wife Diana; grandson’s, Brian and wife Marilyn Cannon, Toby and wife Aubri Cannon; five great grandchildren, Aidan, Beaty, Declan, Reese and Delaney Cannon; and sister in law, Vivian Griffith.
