Jack Dempsey Eaton, JR, 60, Kansas City, MO passed away April 27, 2011 at the Kansas City VA Medical Center. Visitation will be held 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, Saturday, April 30, 2011 at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown, MO. Military graveside services will be held 12:00 PM, Monday, May 2, 2011. Jack was born March 31, 1951 in Kansas City, MO. He was a Army Vietnam Veteran. He is survived by; son, Joey Eaton, Kansas City, MO; wife of many years, Becky Eaton and her sons, Jimmy & Bobby Gunn; siblings, Pam Brooks, Parla Whitney, Cindy Eaton-Heishman, Connie Eaton Johnson, Craig Eaton, Curt Eaton, Lurleen Pendergrass; step father, Parley Pierce; grandchildren, Brittney Gumm, Jimmy Gumm, DeAnna Gumm, and Scotty Gumm. Jack will be remember for his love of Royals baseball, history, and The Beatles. He loved making people laugh more than anything in life.
I will truly miss you brother, with all my heart. You knew that I loved you and I knew you me. Rest in peace.

Jack, I can’t believe your gone. You were my biggest Cheerleader going thru my cancer this passed year. I truly don’t know what I would have done w/o you! I remember how much fun we had as kids, for that brief time. I will miss picking up the phone to call of text you. I Love You
