Jacqulyn Mae McKee

Jacqulyn Mae McKee, 88, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri passed away February 3 from cancer. Ms. McKee was born October 21, 1934, in Kansas City, Missouri. She moved to California in the 50’s and was married to Ross McKee. Jackie was a bookkeeper at Cal State Northridge for 10 years, after training in vocational school. She enjoyed skiing, tennis, trekking in nature, and reading. In 2003, Jackie moved to Lee’s Summit, Missouri to be closer to her sister and the area where she grew up. She loved animals, especially cats, caring for many homeless cats when she lived in Los Angeles, and later providing a home to one cat in Missouri, Panda.

Jacqulyn is preceded in death by Irene E. Schaefer (Mother), Mary J. Loftis (sister), and B. Ross McKee (ex-husband).

Survivors include Richard D. McKee (son); two nieces and their spouses, Angie Hoy (Dave Sullivan) and Lisa Cox (Brian); two great nieces, Heather Hoy and Lindsay Cox; two great nephews, Jake Hoy and Chael Loftis; and three great-great nephews.
