James C Branstetter, 80, Pleasant Hill, Missouri passed away March 30, 2018. Military graveside services will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, April 6, 2018 at Missouri Veteran’s Cemetery, Higginsville, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation.
James was born May 12, 1937 in Deepwater, Missouri. He served the United States Honorably in the Navy, Army and National Guard. James worked with the Clinton, Missouri Police Department, Lake City Army Ammunition Plant in security for 20 years and was a Henry County Sheriff’s Deputy for Prisoner Transport.
He is preceded in death by; father, Jesse C Branstetter; mother, Mabel Brown Branstatter; brother, Ervin Dale Branstetter; sister, Evelyn Branstetter Gregory and niece, Beverly J Gregory. Survivors include; wife, Judith Kapp Branstetter; former spouse, Joan Armor; children, James C Branstetter, Jr. (Melisa), Flagstaff, Arizona, Neal Branstetter (Melinda), Grain Valley, Missouri, Sally Snyder, South Carolina. Jesse Branstetter, Texas; step children, Matt Vaughan, Blue Springs, Missouri, Karen Vaughan Edthridge, Independence, Missouri; 13 grandchildren, and step-grandchildren, many great grandchildren; brother, Elmer Branstetter (Tina), North Carolina and sister, Margaret Branstetter Klose (Norman), Virginia
