James D. Cento

James D. Cento age 71 of Warrensburg, MO passed away on March 2, 2026 at Carmel Hills Nursing, Independence MO. James was born in St. Louis MO on January 11, 1955.

He was preceded in death by his father Chris J. Cento and mother Dorothy Cento (Horgan).

James attended St. Catherine’s of Alexandria elementary school in Riverview and graduated from Riverview Gardens High School in 1973. He worked at McDonnell Douglas. His favorite hobbies were weight lifting and playing drums.

James is survived by his sisters: Christine Cento-Ownby and her husband Terry Ownby and Nancy Underwood and her husband Rick Underwood; nephews, Blake Lunsford and Christopher Underwood; niece, Ashley Underwood; and her son, Lincoln.
