James Hallengren

James G. Hallengren, 68, born in Storm Lake, IA, to Opal (Chamberlin) Hallengren and Alfred Hallengren on April 22, 1942, journeyed to his heavenly home on October 8, 2010. James lived in North Kansas City, MO, and the Gladstone area since 1949 and graduated from North Kansas City High School. He joined the Navy shortly after graduating and served in Vietnam and other areas. His mother, father and one sister, Pauline Joyce preceded him in death. Surviving is one brother, Charles Hallengren of Kansas City, MO; sisters, Paula Long of Orrick, MO, and Janice Kirk of Platte City, MO. James will be buried in Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, Kansas, aboard the Fort Leavenworth Army Post.
