Jim was 88 years young. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his family.
A celebration of life service will be held Monday, November 22nd, 11:00am, at Westside Family Church located at 8500 Woodsonia Drive, Lenexa, Kansas.
Jim is proceeded in death by his first-born son, Michael James.
Survivors include his loving wife of 62 years, Marjorie, as well as their three sons and spouses: Jim and Belinda Lange of Haughton, Louisiana, Robert Lange of Olathe, Kansas, and Daniel and Dianna Lange of Shawnee, Kansas. Jim was “Grandpa” to seven adoring grandchildren and their spouses: Rebecca, Katherine, Elizabeth and her spouse Zachary, Amy and her spouse Steven, Mitchell, Robert, and Dakota. Additionally, Jim was known as “Great” to 3 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a memorial contribution to Westside Family Church. Jim loved his family, and loves the Lord.

Jim was such an important part of my husband’s and my lives. My father was proud to call him his best friend. It was so obvious how much he loved Marge and his family. My husband and Jim shared door duties at Westside Family Church and from all reports kept everyone in smiles. His love for the Lord was as evident as his love for his family.
We were honored to call Jim our friend, and an honorary member of our family. We shall greatly miss him and offer Marge and the entire family our love, prayers and support.
