I’m sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. I knew him from our Moline High School days where Jim excelled in baseball, basketball, and being a good friend, know matter how well you knew him. He was a senior my junior year on the baseball team. He always had a hello for me. In the early 1970s we both worked at IH’s Farmall Plant in Rock Island for a short time. Good-bye to a nice guy.
Jim was our dear friend, especially close to my husband, Rick. They loved to make each other laugh. You never knew when those two were around what was going to come out of their conversations. He was a loyal friend. You are truly missed, Jim. Much love to Janice.
So sad to hear of Jim’s passing. I had the honor of being a teammate on his high school basketball team. While we went our separate ways after high school I thought of him often and hoped he was doing well. Jim was a gifted athlete but more importantly he was one of life’s good guys. Rest in peace, big guy. You will be sorely missed.
I already miss you so much, dear brother (in-law) of mine…as does your loving wife & family & many friends…our hearts are broken, but we know you are up in heaven with so many relatives & friends (especially Deano), who couldn’t wait for you to be home with them. Until we meet again…all of my love…your sis! H E L L O
Jim

I will never again eat chicken and noodles without thinking of you. Much love. Janice, we will always be family and I love you.
Jim…. there are no words…You made a huge impact on Jason and Amy after losing their Father…and Yes…. Many LONG Stories… I imagine You making a few Dunks and some HOME RUNS in Heaven… I will miss You??
Love, Sandy
Oh, Janice, I probably never met Jim (except at you mother or dad’s services), but I certainly wish that I had known him better. I send you and all our family love and prayers as you deal with the loss of this incredible human being. I simply cannot imagine dealing with such a loss during this dreadful time of pandemic. My heart aches for you. Love and hugs from Memphis. Connie
Janice I remember when you first met Jim, I knew then that there was something special that was happening between the two of you! I was honored to have a wedding reception at my and Randy’s house for the two of you and then he whisked you away to Colorado! We lost touch for a while but we do have memories of New Year’s when Val, Randy Cooper, Randy and I came to your house in Blue Springs. I know Jim is now at rest and in God’s arms and we will all see him again someday. My love to you and the family.
Janice and family. I am so very sorry to hear about the loss of Jim. I spoke with him on several occasions at The Villages when I was in town and visiting my SIL Joann Agin’s father Wayne Thruston. And I was so happy to see you both at Wayne’s funeral and I’ll never forget Jim’s heartfelt eulogy to his former table mate. Know that he rests in peace and that you are all in my thoughts and prayers at this sad time.
Peace and God Bless, Mark C. Agin
