    Dear Patrick and family,
We were so sorry to hear of Jan’s passing. Thank you for letting us know. We last saw her at the 25th G W High School reunion and had so much fun and became correspondents from then on. I have tried to let as many of her classmates know of her passing and will make a copy of her obit when I get back to VA to send to to some. Mike did have it put in the G W alum newsletter, which will probably be in the next issue.
We are in FL for the winter and will return to VA mid April.
Our deepest sympathy to you and the family.
    Sarah and Mike Daniel

    Terry, Patrick and family,
Jan was a lifelong true friend, Jr High School in Fort Worth, through everything; I just learned of your loss. Her father was the Oil Editor of the FW Star-Telegram, her mother a career teacher, she left FW for DC her senior year, and then we both began college in Virginia.
I was Maid-of-honor in her Quanico wedding to Larry, first saw baby Terry in California, then was chosen to be his god-mother, frequently visited Raytown when all three boys were growing up, and made a special trip for Sean’s sad funeral. Thankfully several years ago, I was able to visit her again in Lee’s Summit, and we kept in touch through Chiefs’ games – until last fall, and then I lost contact.
Terry and Patrick, I am so sorry for your loss – please contact me through my email address in this condolence.
P.S. – she was 88 and her birthday was always July 7 – she never forgot mine exactly three months later!
