I always remember Janie as Pam & Vicki ‘s younger, spunky, funny sister. Janie was the fun one, the aunt of all aunts to her nieces & nephews, the caregiver to her parents, the one who looked like Young Dort. Her smile was contagious. Her devotion to her family – endless. I wish I could have known her better, but I know her sweet sisters, Pam & Vicki. I know their hearts have a huge hole and I’m praying for them both.
Running & jumping & praising the Lord – that’s what Janie is doing.
Blessings of sympathy- Mel Ebel
Dear Vicki, Pam, Don, Family & Friends,
Janie is in complete joy no doubt, but we do grieve our loss… As those that love God, this is natural because even our Heavenly Father suffers this as loss. We know this from Psalms 116:15-When one of God’s holy lovers dies, it is costly to the Lord, touching His heart. Though death is our enemy, the Lord has robbed it of the sting and we choose to rejoice in the joy Janie fully knows now. Those left behind, well, we pick up where Janie left off here on earth and we continue to advance the Kingdom of God until Jesus returns. No doubt Janie joined Uncle Ralph, Aunt Dorothy, & Gene and countless others in spurring us on in this adventure called life. Strength and comfort to you as you adjust to Janie’s new position; she is loving it.
I can’t imagine how much of a loss you feel when your sister/aunt steps into glory and leaves you behind. The grief is unimaginable. I am so grateful the Bible says that sorrow is only for a little while, but joy WILL come in the morning. Praying that you will feel God’s loving arms surround you and comfort you during this very difficult time
My heart is breaking for all of Janie’s family. It just was so quick — a shock! Janie and I had a special relationship — friend, “daughter”, fellow servant and was one of ‘our kids’ in KCYFC. Oh my memories! She used to take me to Royals games. She sang on and helped produce “Al Metsker Presents” TV show after which we all fellowshipped together at a restaurant. We went to Gaither and Lynda Randal concerts together. I will miss her so much. But I have to remember how very happy she is in the presence of Jesus and being together with her Mom and Dad and Gene! I am happy for her joy. I pray for God’s peace and comfort for you all. With much love,
Dear Family and Friends of Janie,
I remember hearing her beautiful voice praising our Lord on KYFC-TV50 and at various other KCYFC events. I got to know Janie while I attended C.U.B.I. (1978-1979) and was a volunteer camera operator on TV50. Now she gets to sing in the Kingdom choir in praise of the Lord she trusted in (Psalm 84:10-11). Prayers for Shalom peace to you all.
Dear Family and Friends of Janie,
I remember Janie as being pure sunshine. That smile! That constant sparkle in her eyes! She exuded positivity and the light of Jesus…truly. Her beautiful singing voice was so anointed to bring all who heard her right into the presence of the Lord. What a genuinely precious soul. To her family, my heart aches and I’m so sorry for your huge loss, but as others have stated so eloquently, Janie IS rejoicing with her Father in heaven. I pray God’s consummate grace, comfort and peace on you as you grieve.
