Janet “Lily” Vandendaele was a woman of God and a loving mother. She grew up in Raytown, Missouri with her parents Joe and Dorothy Hussey and brothers Dan and Norman. She often reflected fondly on her childhood, riding horses, making homemade ice cream, and sitting under the trees on lazy summer days. A compassionate person, she had a calling to work with children and taught special education, drama, and high school as a young woman. She was a kind and loving person who will be missed by her friends and family, though she has gone to a better place.
She was preceded in death by her parents Joe and Dorothy Hussey.
Survivors include her daughter Stacie Theron and her grandson Ash.
Memorial contributions are suggested to The Miracle Foundation.
Thinking of you Stacie, Jahne, and Ash with sympathy of the passing of your dear mother. Love was her life, her legacy, her gift. What a beautiful way to be remembered.
Hugs,
Judy & Michael Engel
She was a very special Lady, she followed the Lord and had her own opinions and stood by them. She always had the ability to forgive and move on. When visiting with her she always asked about family members and said that she would pray for them. She was a caring daughter to our Mom and always made sure that all of her needs were taken care of. She loved animals, especially cats. She always enjoyed a good laugh and could remember all of the fun times we had growing up together. We know that she is in a very high position with the Lord now and will be watching out for all of us.
All of our love, Dan and Rosie and family.
Stacie- you and your family are in our thoughts. We deeply sorry for your loss.
