Jay Evan Paussa

Jay Paussa, 51, Liberty, MO passed away January 30, 2012 at his home. A memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012 at St. James Catholic Church, 309 S. Stewart Road, Liberty, MO 64068.  A Visitation will be held from 11 AM – 1 PM on Saturday, the 4^th, prior to the service.  Mr. Paussa was born Dec. 1, 1960 in Kansas City, MO.  He was a 1979 Graduate of MO Military Academy, in Mexico, MO. He attended architecture school, SCI-ARC in Los Angeles, CA. He was a past president of Landlords, Inc, of Kansas City, MO. Jay was very involved in his community. He took over Westwood Manor and transformed it into the preeminent retirement community it is today. That community and the people, who live there, were his life. He loved his dogs, they went everywhere with him, even jet skiing at the lake. Jay was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Linehan Paussa. He is survived by his father, Alfred Paussa, and his brothers John and wife Tina, Jim, and Jeff Paussa, nephew Drew, and nieces Claire and Emily. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
