Jean L. Armilio

Jean L Armilio was born in Kansas City, MO on March 12, 1944, to parents Vincel and Elizabeth Close. Jean spent her entire life in the Kansas City Metropolitan area and was a diehard Chiefs fan. Growing up she enjoyed going on family vacations with her parents and sibling. Jean continued her love of travel with her own children as they were growing up.

Jean retired from AT&T after giving 25 years of service, and after retirement she was able to settle into doing other things she loved: Reading books and loving on her animals. Jean was a loving and caring mother and grandmother, and very dear friend to many.

Jean was 78 years old when she departed this life on July 12, 2022, at the Autumn Terrace Health & Rehabilitation Nursing Facility. She was proceeded in death by her loving parents Vincel and Elizabeth.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories, her daughter and son in law Tammy and Mike Pier (Rich Hill, MO), son Phillip Armilio (Kansas City, MO), 5 grandchildren (Nathan, Clarissa, Dillon, Emerald, Austin), 1 great granddaughter (Elizabeth), brother Larry, and a host of family and friends.
