Jean W. Cloe

Jean W. Cloe, 80, of Independence, MO passed away October 7, 2022. Graveside services will be held at 10:00am Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville, MO.

Jeanie was married to James Cloe for over 60 years. She often worked in office accounting positions, having worked for Western Auto for nearly 30 years. She dealt with many hardships throughout her life but showed a remarkable ability to endure. She was a very hard worker and was always there for her family when they needed her. Jeanie enjoyed doing many thoughtful things for them and often, like making homemade greeting cards for nearly every occasion, and they will always remember her strength, thoughtfulness and support.

Jeanie was preceded in death by her parents Bertha and Frank, by her brothers Frank and David, by her son Joseph, and by her granddaughter Julianna Elizabeth.

She is survived by her husband James, by her siblings Winnie, Sandy, Donald, and Richard, and by her adult children Richard (& Deena), Jerry (& Tonya), Diane (& Matt), and Sherry, as well as being survived by her adult grandchildren Michael, Megan (Nym), Alyssa, Caleb, Joey and Hannah and by her bonus grandson Kristoffer. She is also survived by two additional and dearly loved minor grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.

    Mom words alone can’t express the love I feel for you. You opened your heart to me from the beginning and have always treated me like a daughter. I feel blessed to of had you in my life and will cherish our many many memories. It’s been a long good- bye Mom, now it’s time for you to rest in heaven’s glory.

    Please accept my condolences of losing your loved one . Losing a parent is the worst feeling anyone can experience. God is by your side and guides you to be strong , during the passing of your Mom.
