Jeanne Current

Jeananne Current, 84, Blue Springs, Mo., passed away June 17, 2008, at the KC Hospice House. A homemaker and an accomplished pianist, Jeananne was born August 13, 1923, in Cisco, Ill., and graduated from Champaign High School. She and her husband entertained throughout the Midwest as "The Current Sound". She was preceded in death by her husband, David Current; sister Betty; brother Junior, and parents, Ernest and Shirley Relker. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in- law, Pamela and Larry Moehle, Cathy and Stuart Sundvold; four grandchildren, Gretchen Knust, Jeff Moehle and Dani, Carly James and Lee, Christie McElhinney and Curtis, and two great grandchildren, Vaysia and Azaria Knust. A memorial service will he held June 20, at 7 p.m. at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Lee’s Summit, Mo.
