Jeff Madden
March 12,1961- November 29, 2020

Jeff Madden, 59, of Edgerton KS, passed away peacefully after a lengthy battle with COVID-19. Jeff was born March 12, 1961 to Gene Madden and Mildred (Millie) Kumpfer. He was raised in Raytown, MO and graduated from Raytown South high school in 1979.  Jeff worked for Pepsi for 26 years as a Semi-truck driver and Service Technician in his later years. In his spare time, he could be found hunting, fishing, riding his four-wheeler, or frequenting a local restaurant. He is known for his sense of humor, love of food, being a great friend, and always being someone to count on.

He is survived by his wife, RoseAnn, of Edgerton, his daughter Megan Irr (Jason) of Kingsville, and grandchildren Callie and Emily. His siblings include Cindi Rollins (Greg), Rusty Madden (Kelly), and Ricky Madden of Raytown, Gene Madden (Rhonda) of Kingsville, and Christy (Loren) Vinson.  He is also survived by his step children, Frankie (Donna) Haidusek, Suzette (Mike) Vallentine, and Jackie (Mark) McClure.  His step grandchildren include Dakoda Vallentine, Austin and Isaac McClure, and Maddy Haidusek.

He is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, brother-in-law Chris Robles, and step-grandson Sebastian Ladd. He also leaves behind many cousins, nieces, nephews, and great friends of the Edgerton community.

Due to current events, and awareness of COVID-19, a formal memorial is not scheduled at this time. A Celebration of Life is tentatively planned for this summer when friends and family can safely gather together. In lieu of flowers, donations to Always and Furever Midwest Animal Sanctuary in Spring Hill, KS https://alwaysandfurever.love or Clinton, MO Animal Shelter https://www.facebook.com/clintonanimalshelter/app/128953167177144.

We are so sorry to hear this news… we had been following Rickys posts and hoped for a speedy recovery.
RoseAnn, we may have met once at Millie’s funeral possibly?
Megan, you may have been too young to remember but we knew you as a little girl when Millie was married to Bill. Our son Billy was your age and one of your playmates at the time. Our sincere thoughts and prayer are with you and your entire family.
