Jeremy Nichols

Jeremy Dean Nichols, 30, of Columbia died, Sunday, March 8 at University Hospital.  Cremation has taken place and a visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, March 12 at Oakland Christian Church with a memorial service to follow at 7 p.m.  The Rev. Gregory P. Robinson and Pastor Rod Davis will officiate.  Jeremy was born December 31, 1978 in Colorado Springs, CO.  On June 18, 2004 he married Ada C. Cox and she survives him of the home along with their two children Angeleen and David Nichols.  In addition to his wife and children he is survived by his Mother Darla Carlton, aunt, Joan Nichols, his sister Darla M. Carlton, a nephew Kadin and friend Irene Whitmarsh and family.  Jeremy was a boiler technician for Stephens College and was an avid outdoorsman.  He was a member of Oakland Christian Church and also attended Rockbridge Church of Holiness.  The family requests memorials to Angeleen and David Nichols c/o Oakland Christian Church.  Jeremy has been preceded in death by his stepfather, Dave Tenbroke.

    Jeremy was always like a son to me, even as recently as a few weeks ago he called to get advice from me. He was a kind and gentle soul with patience and understanding. I will miss him dearly and wish his family all my Love, Linda

    My brother and my best friend I miss you so much, ive lost a piece of my self since I’ve lost you every day the pain of knowing your still not here is eating me alive, we were going to grow old together and push each other around in wheel chairs. You were the only person I could ever talk to I love you bro I miss you and my life is so empty without you!
