Jerry T. Taylor, 75, of Columbia passed away June 2, 2014 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City. Cremation has taken place and services will be 3:00 pm Friday, June 13, 2014 at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Jacksonville. The family will hold a wake later that day at 5:30 pm at VFW Post 280 in Columbia MO. Jerry served in the US Army & US Air Force for 24 years. He was an avid Cleveland Indians, Kansas City Chiefs and Iowa Hawkeye fan and enjoyed playing golf. Jerry is survived by his wife Hannelore of Columbia MO, his son Thomas of Boonville MO & his brothers Frank Taylor of Indianola IA, & Ralph Taylor of Sturgeon Bay WI.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family. I was a long time friend with Jerry growing up in Indianola.
My deepest sympathy. I served with Jerry Taylor in the Air Force at Kunsan Air Base, Korea between 1971 – 1972.
