JESSE CLARK CARRIKER
Jesse Clark Carriker, 79, Lee’s Summit, MO passed away September 30, 2009. A “Celebration of Life” service & pot luck dinner will be held 12 noon, Saturday, October 24, 2009 at Community of Christ (RLDS) Church, 101 SW 19th St, Blue Springs, MO. The family requests no plants or flowers and a covered dish is appreciated. Jesse was born February 13, 1930 to Julius “Jude” & Mary “Lena” (Martin) Carriker in Cedar County, MO. He is a ‘48 graduate of El Dorado Springs HS, and joined the US Air Force where he served four years. Jesse is preceded in death by; his parents; brother, Gene Carriker; and children, Clinton & Valorie Carriker. Survivors include; wife of 57 years, Dorothy Mae (Andes), of the home; children, Deborah Carriker, Neilsen Carriker, both of Lee’s Summit, MO; grandchildren, Jonathon Carriker, Hawaii, Amy & Robert Weeks, Lee’s Summit, MO, Nate & Heather Carriker, Blue Springs, MO, Matthew Earnest, Iraq; great grandchildren, Braden, Rylee & Clair Weeks; brother, Ulysses Carriker, Stephens City, VA; and many numerous relatives & friends.
