Jimmy Dean Wilks, 81, of Raytown, MO passed away December 16, 2023 at home. Visitation will be held from 10am-12pm Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd. Raytown, MO 64133. Graveside services will be held at 1pm, Thursday, December 21, 2023 at Spring River Cemetery, Verona, MO.
Jim was born July 13, 1942 in Verona, MO. He loved working and driving old cars. Jim spent many weekends going to street rod cruises with other street rod friends. His favorites were a 37 plymouth and a 61 ford.
He was preceded in death by: parents, Roy E. and Stella Wilks; brother, Donny Wilks; and sister, Lou Ellen Davis.
Survivors include: wife of 61 years, Charla D. Wilks; sons, Jeffrey D. Wilks of Kingsville, MO and Michael D. Wilks of Raytown, MO; and brother, Tommy Wilks of Mt. Vernon, MO.
