Jo Ann Pflieger, age 86, of Ashland, Missouri, passed away November 14, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 18, 1935 in Columbus, Ohio. Jo was the youngest of three daughters born to Clarence and Nellie Osborne. She worked for several decades at the University of Missouri in a variety of capacities before retiring at the age of 80. She also worked for Jacobs and Kemper Auctions and enjoyed collecting antiques.
Survivors include her husband William Pflieger, daughters Pat Pflieger and Cindy Davis, grandchildren Drew Davis, Evan Davis and Chloe Davis Bennett, and great-grandchildren Eleanor and William.
At Jo’s request, no services will be held.

Jo and Bill were a study in contrast. Jo was bigger than life, talkative, and not afraid to offer an opinion. Bill was quiet, humble, contemplative, and a loner. Nonetheless, they loved and supported one another for decades. I appreciated working with her at MU.
