Dad,

Even though you were not by my side on a daily basis before coming home this year, I must say that you truly tried to be a father the best way you knew how through phone calls and our visits.  I never turned my back on you and neither did you towards me.  I am forever grateful for that.  These months that I got to have you home and take care of you were very challenging, but I wouldn’t trade these memories for the world!  It was definitely a blessing and honor that I got to take care of you for your last days.

Love your daughter, Traci
