The fondest memory I have of Daddy…how he LOVED to teach and train with anything mechanical. He was extremely diligent and patient with my 2 sons when they were little. It was a great comfort to me to watch him mentor.

There were a lot of fond memories at your mom and dad’s house. Holiday dinners your mom and I would cook and then your dad would aggravate your mom, playing cards till late at night, the influence he had on my kids and helping me change the hoses on my green and white truck. He was like one of my big brothers.

The loves and trials of being brothers- Time lost-only memories left–greater words fail me–until later

When I heard about Joe’s passing, the first thing I recalled from our school days were those ears and that smile. Another one of our number gone too soon, but he had a close and loving family, and that’s treasure beyond value. My condolences to them!

My thoughts and prayers are with your family. I never met Joe but Teresa would light up a room talking about him and how he took care of his family. May you all find peace in this time of sorrow, and draw strength from your memories of Joe and how he lived. The pictures are wonderful.
    Sincerely,
    Dianne Coyle

I really am sorry for ALL of your loss. I wish life had given us more time to get know Joe more. A fond memory was how he and Buddy laughed forever one Christmas over the saying “Football be very very good to me”. Don’t ask me why now but they seemed to really get a kick over it. Praying for you all in the days ahead.

Our best memories of Joe are when he worked for us at our Texaco station on North Main in Altus OK as he was growing up.
We remember him at Wilson School, maturing, and marrying Teresa, the hometown girl. Teresa, our thoughts and prayers are with you and the family at this time. We love you as always.

Beautiful video Teresa. What a blessing God gave to you and Joe to have 41 years together. He blessed you with a beautiful daughter, a loving son, 2 precious grandsons and many many friends that hurt for you at this time. The loss of someone you have loved so very much is painful so know that many are praying for you and your family and that you all have a loving Heavenly Father who loves you beyond your ability to imagine. And He promises to be there with you in the days and the nights ahead. Psalm 23:2-3 He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul.

Your friend in Christ and in His love

Teresa, I remember when you, Joe and the kids were here over 16 years ago. It was 2 weeks after Stacy went to heaven. We both talked so much that Joe pretended to lick his finger then he touched you next to your lips and made a sizzle sound and said that it was hot. He was very patient with our non-stop talking! I am praying for you all. I love you!
