Joesph Henry Cain

Joseph Henry Cain, 88, Raytown, Missouri passed away February 12, 2017.  A visitation will be held 1:00 – 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at First Baptist Raytown.  Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM at the church.  Burial in Brooking Cemetery, Raytown, Missouri.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gideon’s International and/or First Baptist Raytown.

Joe was born May 1,1929 in Kansas City, Missouri to Oscar & Teresa Cain.  He was a long time member of First Baptist Church of Raytown, where he served for many years as a deacon and Sunday School teacher.  Joe was also active in the Gideon’s Bible Society for many years.  Joe was a Veteran, having serving the Navy’s Sea Bees.  He was stationed  in Guam and California.  Joe was employed by SW Bell/AT&T until his retirement.

Survivors by; his wife of 66 years Jeraldine Cain, of the home and sister, Nola Way, Odessa, Missouri.
