John Brunner

John Edward "Ed" Brunner, 69, of Shawnee, KS; passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2011. A memorial mass will be held 11 AM Saturday, April 2nd at St. Joseph Catholic Church 11311 Johnson Dr. Shawnee, Kansas. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grace Hospice of Kansas City, MO, and/or Beautiful Savior Home, Belton, MO. Ed was preceded in death by his parents John and Rosemary (McClellan) Brunner, and his brother Bob.He is survived by his wife Susan, children: Mike, Kathy (Kent), Lisa (Eric), Natalie, Andrea, brothers Larry and Jim, sister in law Paula and three grandkids: David, Amelia and Zoey. Ed was a member of Pipefitters Local Union 533.

    Ed was a good man who took me in as one of his own while I was in college at Kansas State with his son Mike (my brother). I will forever be indebted to him for his kindness and generosity.
