John Evan Lyons, 58, Grandview, MO passed away December 7, 2012. Visitation will be held 6:00-7:30 PM, Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown, MO. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society. Burial in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville, MO. John was born November 11, 1954 in Brandenburg, KY. He was honorably discharged from the US Army in 1976. Throughout his life he held various jobs-General Motor, Loch Llyod, Armour-Swift Eckrich and as a bus driver for Ray-Pec School District. John was a big hearted man and loved his family dearly. He will be deeply missed by ALL. John is preceded in death by; father, James Lyons and mother, Mary Alice Jursch. Survivors include: wife, Judy Johnston Lyons; son & daughter in law, Jay & Emily Burton Lyons; daughter & son in law, Jenna Marie & Tyler Wehner; brother, Jim Lyons; brother & sister in law, Jeff & Sadie Lyons; brother, Chuck Lyons; sister, Patty Larson; nieces Mary & Nancy and nephew Dewey.
