John H. Peters, 73, of Kansas City, MO died on August 12, 2008 at the Indian Meadows Nursing Home in Overland Park, KS. He is preceded in death by his parents, George F. & Mary Catherine Peters and two sisters, Johanna "Dolly" Growney and Mary Henderson. John is survived by his brother, George Peters of Arkansas and several nieces and nephews.
Cremation; a graveside service with military honors will be held at Leavenworth National Cemetery at a later date. The family would like to thank Indian Meadows and Kansas City Hospice for their love and concern for John. Also, the family suggests contributions be made to Kansas City Hospice.
