John J. “Toby” Bishop

Toby Bishop, 84, Kansas City, Missouri passed away May 1, 2018. A visitation will be held 10:00-11:00 AM, Friday, May 4, 2018 at Heartland, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd., Raytown, Missouri 64133. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM at the funeral home, followed by a burial at Floral Hills Cemetery in Kansas City, Missouri. Toby was born December 29, 1933 in Kansas City, Missouri to Fred Sr. And Helen A. Bishop. Toby was preceded in death by his parents and nine brothers and sisters. He leaves behind his wife of 61 years Carol Bishop, his children; John (Beth) Bishop, Debbie (Ron) Gipfert and Lisa (John) Stajcar, his grandchildren; Zachary (Stephanie) Gipfert, Megan Gipfert, Jared Gipfert, Rachel (Robert) Shull, Brett Bishop, Katie Stajcar, a great-granddaughter Atara Jewel Gipfert, a nephew Tim Bishop and niece Cynthia Borgelt.
