John Lynn Jackson

John Lynn Jackson, born August 2, 1957, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2026, in Columbia, Missouri, surrounded by his family.
John was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and cherished family member. He spent most of his life as a truck driver and enjoyed fishing whenever he had the chance. He took great pride in working hard and providing for the people he loved.
Above all else, John loved his family. His happiest moments were spent surrounded by the people who meant the most to him. He treasured family gatherings, sharing stories, laughing together, and simply being with his loved ones. He especially adored his grandchildren and cherished every opportunity to spend time with them. Whether making memories, watching them grow, or enjoying the simple moments together, John was happiest when his grandchildren were close by. The love he had for his family was evident in everything he did, and the memories they made together will remain with them forever.
He is survived by his wife, Sherry Jackson; his son, Brandon Jackson and his wife, Jen, and their children, Bennett, Cecelia, and Quinn; his son, Garrett Jackson and his children, Sage, Gunner, and Granger; and his daughter, Beth Jackson and her children, Sarah and Harper.
John will be remembered for his love of family, his hardworking spirit, his enjoyment of fishing, and the special bond he shared with his children and grandchildren. His presence brought love, laughter, and strength to those around him. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved him.
