John S. Bruner 55, Leavenworth, Kan., died Tuesday (5/27/08). He was born May 4, 1953 in Waterloo, Iowa. He served in the Navy during the Vietnam War.
Survivors: daughter and son-in-law, Sarah and Bryan Hunt; son and daughter-in-law, Rod and Beth McKinzie; grandchildren, Savannah and Abigail Hunt; Zach Powell; uncle, Ed Holm. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, jack and Norma Jean Bruner.
Burial graveside services at Leavenworth Kansas National Cemetery on Monday (6/2/08) at 1:30 p.m. Donations to the family in c/o Bruner, 412 E. Short Ave., Independence, MO 64050. Arrangements by Heartland Cremation & Burial Society
