He is survived by his wife, Margaret, sons James of Vance, AL, Tony of Shelby County, AL, step son, Neal Simmons of Drexel, MO, and daughter Katirna Kernop of Vance, AL. brothers Jimmy Kernop of FL. and Terry ,of OK, sisters Mary Vanhorn and Judy.
