Jose Saavedra

Jose J. Saavedra, 73, of Kansas City, MO passed away Saturday, March 21 at the VA Medical Center. Memorial Services will be 4:00PM Friday, March 28 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Kansas City, MO. Jose was born Febuary 28, 1930 in Jacona-Michoacan, Maxico. He was a member of the American Legion Post 608, served in the Korean War, and as a Master Carpenter helped to renovate Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Jose was preceded in death by his wife, Delores Saavedra in 1984. He is survived by his children, Stephen, David, Jesse, and Laura; and his great grandchildren, Sophie, Joseph, and Jesseca.
