Joseph Emily

Joseph Abraham Emily age 61 born March 17th 1959 passed away at home in Kansas City, MO on Sept. 22nd 2020. He leaves behind his daughters Julie Mills, Sarah Head, Jody Justice of De Soto Missouri, and Theresa Riley of Kansas City. Also five Grandchildren, one step Grandchild and his siblings Russell Emily, Daniel Emily (Sandy), Rocky Emily (Sarah), Ramona Rhodes (Stephen) and April Emily. Joe was loved and will be missed.

    I’ll always remember Joe as a man with the biggest heart. He was the kind of guy that would take a tire off of his own car and give it to you if your tire was flat. He helped a lot of people on his journey through this life, never asking for a thing in return. Rest in peace “Joey.”

    LittlJoe, I’m sorry life wasn’t all it it supposed to be for us. We have all had a hard time . Yours harder than others. I’ll alway remember you sitting at the old house in Independence.playing and singing music together. I can remember the day you was born.Dad put Rocky and I sn a room in a old farm house and warned us not to come out. I was about 5 years old. I love you brother. Tell mom and the famiy we love them.

    I am so glad that I was able to have the pleasure of meeting Joe and was able to call him friend. I wish I would have been able to finish the last talk we started a couple months back. You will be truly missed. Always in my heart until we meet again. I will be on the look out for some shannagains from up above! RIP our new angel.
