Joseph Robert Bob Brawner, of Independence, Missouri, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 25, 2009. Bob was born on September 2, 1949, in Kansas City, Kansas. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps from March 8, 1967 to August 11, 1970, which included two tours of duty in Vietnam. Bob is survived by two daughters, Gayle L. Roy and Lorrie Y. Evans, both of Boonville, Indiana. Bob also leaves behind four sisters, Rosie Wittmeyer, Deb Oldham, Cindy Lindsay, and Patti McNeal, four grandsons, several nieces and nephews, several great nieces and great nephews, and many loving friends. There will be a memorial service held in Bobs honor at Abundant Life Baptist Church, 414 SW Persels, Lees Summit, Missouri, 64081 on Monday, September 7 at 10:00 am.
