Joseph P. Simpson, 56, Severance, KS passed away January 25, 2007. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edith Simpson; father, Merrill Simpson; mother, Helen (Libel) Simpson; and brother, Gene Simpson. Joe is survived by his daughters, Teresa Thomas and husband Charles, of Atchison, KS; and Jodie Smith and husband, Brad, of Troy, KS; 3 grandchildren, Chuck & Alyxus Thomas and Breanna Smith; 2 sisters; 1 brother. A memorial service will be at Harman-Rohde Funeral Home in Troy, KS on Jan. 29, 2007 at 10:30 am, with burial at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the Joe Simpson Memorial Fund, 1631 Mesquito Creed Rd. Troy, KS, 666087.
