To the family of Josephine Basgall,
I was sorry to learn about the death of Josephine. My mother, Rose Walbe Adams, was a first cousin of Josephine. My name is Al (Alois) John Adams and I live in Little Rock Arkansas. I have recently retired and am spending time learning about all of Mom’s first cousins and in the process trying to meet some of my second cousins. I learned of Josephine’s death from Denis Wewers who goes to the same Catholic Church that I do. My mom was quite a bit older than Josephine and was good buddies with Lily Wewers, Denis’ mother. Mom did help “Uncle Joe and Aunt Annie” quite a bit when they were living in Charleston, the small town 24 miles from Forth Smith that I grew up in. I have been able to make contact with Sonny Walbe, Juanita Perry, and Anna Lou Fritsche; I regret not getting to Overland Park in time to meet Josephine. I would very much enjoy striking up a conversation with any of Josphine’s offspring just to learn a bit about her life.
    Al Adams
