Joyce will be greatly missed by Encore Theatre members who were her friends. We all loved Joyce and enjoyed her both onstage and offstage. If any of us get to Heaven, I know it will be Joyce. My deepest sympathy to her son and his family and all friends and extended family.

Joyce was a beloved member of the Kansas City Debate community. We will miss seeing her and her insightful debate ballots written in her elegant longhand. Her decisions made dreams come true for hundreds of area high school students as they qualified to state and nationals. A loss that is greatly felt. We extend our condolences to the family.

To the Manning family I send my prayers to you at this sad time. I met Joyce many years ago. My parents(Hoot and Lucille Fine)

were dear friends of Homer and Gladys. They camped together for years at Pomme de Terre and in Mission Tx. I talked to Joyce

usually around Christmas time and we would bring each other up to date. She was a lovely lady and I will miss our talks.

    Dearest Family,
I met Joyce when the Union Pacific Railroad merged with the Missouri Pacific Railroad in the late 1990’s. She was a very beautiful, helpful, caring person. I was on a cruise when she passed and just recently found out about her death. Her family was not only her life, the loves of her life, and she was always proud of each one of you and your many accomplishments. Eddy and Riley brought her so much joy and pride always. I am so very sorry for your loss. Your Mother meant so much to so many people and she will certainly be missed.

Hello, I don’t know if this is fitting or not but I came upon the beautiful keepsake video of the life of Joyc Ann Manning. I did not know Joyce, however, seeing her life in photo memories was absolutely touching and brought me to tears. I am sure you all brought her such joy and happiness. May God comfort you in this time of sadness.
