Joyce Bailey, age 88, of Independence, Missouri, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2022. Memorial Service will be held 3:00PM Wednesday, December 21st, 2022 at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 21, 2022 2:00PM-3:00PM at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society.
Joyce was born March 18, 1934 in Kansas City, MO. Joyce enjoyed sewing clothing for her children. James and Joyce loved camping and spending time at Truman Lake. She enjoyed spending time with her husband, children, and her dog.
Preceded in death by: husband, James Richard Bailey; parents, Ralph and Isabelle Finkland; and sister, Judy Grimes.
Survivors include: three daughters, Debbie (Randy) Taylor, Linda (Tom) Lear, and Cindy (Jim) Althouse; grandchildren: David, Jeff, Jeremy, Brent, April, Nick, Matthew, Courtney, Steve, Christopher and Nathan; 19 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren; and dog, Penny.
