Joyce Lynn Hagerman

Joyce Lynn Hagerman, 77 of Warrensburg, passed away Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Katy Manor in Pilot Grove, MO.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at Grover Park Baptist Church, 409 N. Mitchell St., Warrensburg, MO 65043 with Pastor Randy Neal, PhD officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Aldrich, MO.

Joyce was born at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Boonville, MO on March 17, 1946 the first daughter to the late Wilbert and Verda (Deuschle) Aurig. She graduated from Pilot Grove High School in 1964, graduated from State Fair Community College in 1970 and received her Certified Professional Secretary designation in 1977. Joyce married Dale Hagerman on April 25, 1980 and he preceded her in death in 2018. She worked as a secretary the majority of her life. She is a member of Grover Park Baptist Church and served as a church clerk.

Joyce is survived by her sister. Jeana (Ken) Bishop of Ashland, MO, niece, Rachel (Joe) Kinney of Hartsburg, MO and nephew, York (Sara) Rehklau of Beaufort, MO. She is also survived by great nieces, Ayla and Brooklyn Kinney also of Hartsburg and great nephews, Caleb Rehklau also of Beaufort and Dustin Steinberg of Gerald, MO

In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to NARFE (National Active and Retired Federal Employees) or Grover Park Baptist Church Building Fund.
