Joyce Denise Nichols, 56, of Boonville, passed away Friday, July 6, 2012 at her home surrounded by her family. Cremation has taken place and no services are planned. Joyce was born July 5, 1956 in Memphis, TN to Troy and Jeanette (Hughey) Rhea. On March 31, 1995 she married Delmer Nichols in Columbia and he survives her of the home. She is also survived by her mother Jeanette Bobo of TN; three sons James (Carolyn) Pace of Columbia, Eric Leathers of TN and Travis Nichols of IA; two daughters, Jeri (Chris) Pace of Columbia and Tracy Forbes of Ashland, one brother Sonny Rhea of TN, a sister, Diane James also of TN and 12 grandchildren. Joyce was a great mother and loved her grandchildren dearly. Family always came first but she loved garage sales, the casino and took much pride in her gardening.
