Joyce Wiese, 72, of Independence, Missouri passed away March 16th at home from cancer. A Memorial Mass will be held at Nativity of Mary in Independence on April 13, 2019 at 9:00am. A celebration of Joyce’s life will be held on April 27, 2019, 2:00-5:00pm at Elks Lodge 1705 in Festus, Missouri. Mrs. Wiese was born June 24th in St. Louis.
Joyce was a selfless, giving woman who was always willing to help in any way possible. Joyce went above and beyond for others including donating a kidney to her sister, volunteering weekly at her church, and the ultimate selfless act of donating her body for the advancement of science. She would be there for you, whenever you needed her. A loving mother, wife and friend, Joyce will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her husband, David Wiese, and three children: Joseph Santangelo of Bloomsdale, Missouri, Paulette Clayton of St. Louis, Missouri, and Benjamin Wiese of Overland Park, Kansas; and six grandchildren.
