Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Juanita L. Palmer, 96, of John Knox Village passed away on December 23, 2023 from natural causes. Juanita was born on November 5, 1927 in Bloomington Township, Decatur County Iowa.
She grew up on a farm in Decatur County Iowa, later working at a hospital in Des Moines, Iowa. Juanita moved to Kansas City, MO where she worked with the IRS then transferring to the GSA where she would work for 43 years. She retired in 1983. Her retirement was spent giving her love to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild.
Juanita was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest, and her grandsons, Daniel Palmer and Sullivan Palmer.
She is survived by her sons, David Palmer and Michael Palmer; her daughter-in-law Courtney Palmer; and grandsons, Dustin Palmer and Donovan Palmer; granddaughter, Callan Hassler (Matthew); and great-granddaughter, Lillian Rose Palmer.
