Judith Ann Turner

Judith Ann Turner, 81 passed away January 14, 2022, in the comfort of her home.  She was born September 13, 1940, in Bunkie, LA, the daughter of Kenneth William and Helen Lathene (Graham) White.

She completed her schooling in Hoisington, KS, graduating from Hoisington High School in 1958.  She married in 1959 and had 3 children.  Judy was a stay-at-home mother while raising her children and was heavily involved in Girl Scouting.

Judy retired from Curry Real Estate Service where she was an apartment manager at El Chaparral Apartments in Riverside, MO.  Prior to that she raised Boer goats on her ranch in southern TX.

She was a devoted Kansas City Chiefs fan for many years and enjoyed her garden, her collies Sunshine and Missy and swimming with her friends after she retired.

Judy is survived by her 3 children, David W Carlile Sr of Independence, MO, and her daughters Sandra Lee of Independence, MO and Terri Peterson and husband John of Lee’s Summit, MO; a brother Gary Dean Ummel of Kansas City, MO; grandchildren David W Carlile Jr and husband Bryan, Jamie Lee, Sarah Kobe and husband Joshua, Stacy Lee, Thomas Williams and wife Sophie, Emily Williams, Lisa Peterson and Shannon Brown and husband Kyle; great grandchildren Samantha, Gabriel and Madeline Kobe, Penelope Williams and Felecia and Harley Wortham.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Dennis White and wife Donna and her grandparents Henry Graham and Anna Woodburn.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the ASPCA.

Memorial service will be held at Heartland Cremation and Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Boulevard, Raytown, MO on Saturday, January 22, 2022.  Visitation will be at 12 pm with service beginning at 1 pm.  The service will be live streamed for those who are unable to attend.  Kansas City Chiefs apparel is encouraged for all.…because you know how Judy was about her Chiefs!
