Kara Young Stapp, 32, Gardner, Kansas, passed away Sunday, January 15,2006 after a long bout with cancer.Kara was born to Richard and Jan Young, Wichita, on December 18, 1973 at Wichita, KS. She was a graduate of Longview Community College and worked for Sprint as a Project Leader for 11 years.
On September 9, 1995 she was united in marriage at Andover’s Terradyne Country Club
to Colby N. Stapp, who survives at the home. They have one son, Cade, 4.Survivors include her husband and son, parents, her brother, Kurt
Young, Seattle, Father-in-Law John Stapp, Brother and Sister-in-Law Randy and Stephanie Stapp, family members Jo Thomas, Richard and Marybeth Stapp, Harold and Becky Stapp and many friends.
A celebration of life will be held 6:00 p.m. Saturday, January 21 at the Ritz Carlton on 137th Street in Overland Park, Kansas.
