Karen Jean (Werner) Canfield

Karen Jean Werner, 78, of Independence Missouri gained her wings and went to be with the Lord on July 23, 2026. Karen was a devoted Catholic. She enjoyed working for the government.  Afterwards she devoted herself to her friends and family. She loved being around people and her Little Debbie white cakes and strawberry rolls.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, Charles Werner and Rose Werner; brothers Sonny, Gary and John Werner.  Survivors include sister Patty Scott and husband Tom; brother Doug Werner; her daughter, Angi Snell and son-in-law Josh Snell; her grandchildren Karaann, Khloe, Johnny and Marley; her great grandchildren, Elijah, Ethan and Everleigh; and by her nieces, Sonya Niess, and Debbie Reed.
